The Michelin Guide's review
Set in a magnificent site, this bridge in fact owes its name to an ancient mule track leading to Spain. Several footbridges and viewpoints offer breathtaking views of the tumultuous waters of two mountain streams forming a series of cascades as they meet. The immediate surroundings are planted with firs and forest pines. Those with energy to spare may want to walk as far as the Lac de Gaube (1hr 30min round trip on the GR 10).
