The Michelin Guide's review
The museum was created in 1927 on the initiative of the Touring Club of France. The collection of vintage vehicles features travel and ceremonial carriages. In addition to 75 18C-19C carriages and fifty or so sledges and other vehicles, you will see some thirty cars that illustrate the first steps of the automobile using steam, electricity and the combustion engine up until 1914.
