The Michelin Guide's review
This Corinthian-style temple, built in the 2C, was probably devoted to Diana. The capitals and the bases are made of Estremoz marble, and the bodies of the columns are granite. Its longevity owes much to the fact it was turned into a fortress in the Middle Ages and only unearthed in the late 19C.
