The astonishing Palais Bénédictine is the brainchild of Alexandre Le Grand, creator of the famous Bénédictine liquer and pioneer of marketing strategy. Since its inauguration in the 19C, the museum has explained the history and manufacture of this celebrated drink; the 27 plants and spices used, distillation and ageing. Fine collection of artworks: alabasters, ironwork, illuminated manuscripts, ivories and pictures (14C-18C).
