The Michelin Guide's review
This museum - installed in the house where the artist lived from age 12 to 15 - may bear the name of Camille Claudel (1864-1943) but it provides a broader look at the history of sculpture in the 19C through the work of three other sculptors from Nogent: Marius Ramus, Paul Dubois and Alfred Boucher, whose young daughter was his pupil. Beyond a presentation of this art and a documentary on Camille Claudel's tough life, there are many major creations of this artist whose destiny was linked to Rodin's.
