The Royal Route, Warsaw's top tourist attraction, is thus named because it links the different homes of Poland's monarchs. Some 10km-long, it stretches from the Royal Castle in the Old Town, the main residence, as far as their summer home of Wilanów Palace, passing by the hunting palace of Ujazdów and the majestic landscaped park of Łazienki. Lined by historic edifices, mansions, palaces and churches, the Royal Route requires more than a day to appreciate it fully.
