Also called Tkalciceva or Potok (stream), since 1898 Ivan-Tkalcic Street runs along the former bed of the Medvešcak River and is lined with inviting cafe terraces. On the right is the statue of the country's first professional journalist, Marija Juric Zagorka (1873-1957).
